Annual Fundraiser for Finishing of Construction Projects

It’s happening! From no view (sorry warming hut) to full on Southern exposure down the expanse of our stadium. And downstairs, a fully functional equipment rental facility, no more mice, musty odors or arduous shuffling of equipment. A bonus from any view!

But the view Broadens further, for our sights are set on moving the sea-can on and replacing it with a storage shed fit for the never tiring crew and equipment.  A fact, not just a point of view!  We are most anxious to build a structure which can finally house our grooming equipment so that our groomers no longer have to struggle with cramming snow machines into restricted space with no ventilation causing the equipment to freeze to the floor of the building and shortening the life of the equipment and the patience of the groomers.

Construction of the new Lodge begins this spring. But, we have yet to raise the funds to fully bring to completion this ambition. One which embraces and engages our similarly broadening community, young and old, in the most welcoming and healthy manner. Can you help us even in the smallest way? Collectively we change the view!

Once again Nordiq Canada is sponsoring a fund raising campaign on behalf of Cross Country Ski Clubs across Canada. With their support we are able to offer Charitable Donation receipts to Donors which we are normally not able to do. The campaign runs until March 21 so please take advantage while you can.

We have received generous funding for the new Lodge Structure, but not enough to complete the final finishing. These new projects will be game changers for our club and will improve program delivery and social interaction within the community.

We are asking our membership and the community at large to support us in this endeavor. Even the smallest of contributions is greatly appreciated and brings us a step closer to our goal. Please share this request with any and all who you think may believe this is a worthwhile community aspiration.
