Postponed! Bull Mountain Loppet
The Bull Mountain Loppet is back! After not being held for many years we are pleased to announce that on the 15th of Feb at 10:00am the horn will go off and the participants can ski a 7.5km course up to 4 times for a total of 30 km. Costumes are encouraged. Come for a fun time of nordic ski culture! A 2.5 km course is available for younger participants.

Biathlon Demo
Biathlon demo Wednesday 14 Jan 5:30 to 7:30pm at Bully Mountain. Avery from @biathlonbc will be featuring electronic biathlon rifles. Ages 8 and up. A season pass or day ticket is required if skiing.
Here’s a bit more about the electronic biathlon system:
Electronic rifle systems have been developed in recent years to offer a biathlon experience that is safer, more accessible, and more environmentally friendly. They use a camera-based targeting system to simulate biathlon-style shooting—no projectile is involved (think Nintendo “Duck Hunt”).
BC Northern Teck Race and BC Winter Games Trials
Come race , watch or Volunteer for the first sanctioned race in Williams Lake in quite some time! Check out the race norice for details.
Athletes trying out for the BC Winter Games must be born in 2012 (U14-2) or 2011
(U16-1) and must be a member in good standing of a Zone 8 club. The zone representatives will
be in touch in the week following the qualifier race.
Last Minute XMas Gifts
Last minute Xmas gifts for the skiers or soon to be skiers on your list. We have gift certificates for day passes and rentals. We also have some sweet new WL Nordic branded T shirts, Hats and Headbands. Hope the snow arrives soon and you can have a ski and get the last minute items!
Season Opening
The groomer was out on Sunday and the trails are open! One of the earliest starts in a few years. Early season conditions exist, with some exposed rocks and dirt. More snow is forecast for later in the week. Once there is enough coverage will open rentals. Lodge hours remain limited until at least 13 Dec. Check back for an update on weekend hours.

Return to Winter - Trails Groomed
Winter has apparently other plans for us. Dave was able to groom with the recent snowfall and conditions are reported as excellent. Come and get it while it lasts! Be aware of changing road conditions as we continue with the freeze thaw cycle this week.
Free Ski Family Day
Free Ski Day on Family Day. Join us for scavenger Hunt, hot dogs, hot chocolate and s’mores. Rentals available 10:30am to 3:00 pm. Last rentals out by 2:00pm Rentals are $20 for adults and $15 for kids. No evening rentals.
Ski Orienteering
Using the existing cross country ski trails, participants will read a map and make route choices to find the preset points. Three levels of participation easy, intermediate, and advanced.
Cataline Challenge
Note the time Change due to cold temperatures. Come join us for a fun day of skiing at Bull Mountain. How many laps can you ski? Who has the fastest lap? 7.4 km loop. Draw prizes sponsored by Cyclelogic.

Jackrabbits 1st Day 2025
Jackrabbits starts at 1 pm Sunday January 5 for all registered participants (register on Zone 4 ). If people need ski gear for their kids they need to come at 12:30 to get set up.
