BIATHLON

Get ready to try out biathlon. The Williams Lake Cross Country Ski Club has recently joined Biathlon BC. We are gauging interest in having a biathlon program at the club. We will have the use of the electronic non-projectile camera rifles during the winter. This will allow us to ski and shoot in a safe and controlled environment. Shoot and Bike Biathlon Demo

1:00 pm wrap up

Come ride some Fox Mountain single track and then try shooting after your heart rate is elevated. A fun, introductory bike-and-shoot biathlon event combining mountain-bike singletrack with safe, non-projectile electronic target rifles.

Course options:

  • 1.3 km Novice – Green Loop X 3 laps

  • 2.5 km Intermediate – Blue Loop x 3 laps

Shoot:

  • electronic camera rifles (non-projectile)

  • Range set up in the parking lot

  • Mass start

  • No results/timing — recreational event

Who:
Open to everyone. No previous biathlon experience required.

Cost:
$5 per participant. Children under 16 need to be accompanied by Parent or Guardian.
